Abstract

This article presents the methodology and design of the field study, the main stages of their preparation, organization, as well as some issues of the field part of the study itself, which was implemented within the framework of the project "Interculturalism and tolerance in multiethnic Kazakhstan in the context of globalization and new migratory challenges", funded by the grant "Zhas Galym" of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The article defines the scope of application of the concept of "tolerance" at the stage of preparation of the methodology and design of the study, its indices and measurement methods in foreign practice are considered.
