Abstract

The article presents the role and contribution of the founder of Kazakh linguistics Akhmet Baitursynuly in the formation of the structure and thematic content of the rules of spelling of the Kazakh language, an analysis of the scientific foundations. The main part of the article consists of two large topics. Firstly, the themes and structural elements of the spelling rules of the Kazakh language, the number and scientific basis of the spelling rules are given with historical data and original quotations. In the second part, the principles of writing, which Akhmet Baitursynuly adhered to when creating the Kazakh spelling, are analyzed on specific examples. The scientific argumentation of the article is supported by the original works of the scientist and the conclusions of modern specialists of Kazakh spelling. During the analysis, all editions of the 1-year work of Akhmet Baitursynuly (book 1) "Til-kural" were compared, the necessary references were obtained. As a result, it was proved that Akhmet Baitursynuly formed the most relevant topics of Kazakh spelling and the structure of spelling rules, which served as the basis of modern Kazakh spelling.
