The article analyzes the mechanisms of the globalization phenomenon’s impact on culture, its genesis, and contemporary role, grounded in an epistemological framework. The research methods employed include identifying key processes in the mutual influence and development of cultures, evaluating the positive and negative consequences of globalization, and discussing the impact of modern information technologies on intercultural exchange. In the proposed article, the mechanisms of cultural adaptation and interaction are systematically revealed through historical examples. It is established that globalization, currently accelerating through information networks, innovative technologies, and mass culture, poses a risk of erasing ethno-national distinctions. The study demonstrates that the globalization of culture is an objective inevitability for humanity, yet managing its consequences requires addressing issues such as preserving national uniqueness, supporting cultural diversity, and mitigating growing ecological interdependence. The research contributes to understanding modern socio-cultural transformations and developing strategies to manage them.
