Abstract

 This scientific article examines the religious aspects of mass consciousness in Kazakhstan, with an emphasis on the current state of Islam in society. The relationship between religious ideas and social processes, as well as their influence on the formation of collective ideas and national identity of Kazakhstanis, are studied. Particular attention is paid to the processes and trends of changes in religious values ​​in the context of cultural and social transformations, as well as the interaction of various ideological systems. The article discusses the problems of adapting religious concepts in the context of globalization and their role in ensuring social harmony. The author emphasizes the importance of studying the religious factor for a deeper understanding of the socio-cultural specifics and prospects for the development of modern society.

The research work covers two main areas: firstly, the analysis of the speech of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.-Zh.K. Tokayev at the third session of the National Kurultai “Adal Adam – Adal Enbek – Adal Tabys”; secondly, the discourse analysis of Kazakhstani online platforms on the topic of “Islam and Tengrism” in the context of religious mass consciousness. The main goal of the article is to determine the state of religious views in public and expert discourse, as well as to identify religious aspects of the mass consciousness of Kazakhstanis.
