Abstract

This article examines the impact of algorithmic recommendation systems on the formation of ideological views among youth in the modern digital environment. Particular attention is given to how social networks and online platforms, through personalized information delivery, influence the worldview, value orientations, and socio-political perceptions of young people. It is noted that the constant repetition of similar content can limit exposure to diverse opinions and contribute to the formation of entrenched informational attitudes. The paper emphasizes that digital technologies are changing not only the practical aspects of life but also the worldview through which individuals perceive society, morality, culture, and their own place in social reality. In this regard, the role of artificial intelligence in developing an ethically sound strategy for its use and interaction with humans is highlighted. The paper also analyzes the risks of increased ideological insularity, a decline in the critical perception of information, and the dependence of young people on digital sources. It underscores the necessity of developing media literacy and the ability to independently evaluate the content of information flows. The conclusion is drawn that recommendation algorithms are becoming a significant factor influencing the consciousness of young people and require further scholarly investigation.
