Abstract

Annotation. The article describes national consciousness as the most important component of public consciousness, defines and characterizes the structure of national consciousness as a mechanism for understanding and changing the socio-cultural environment, socio-cultural reality, cultural and philosophical analysis of the consequences of globalization processes in terms of their own impact on national consciousness, studies the specific characteristics of national consciousness and its individual national-transitional component, studies the place and role of national consciousness in the system of Public Security, attention is paid to the study of the new cultural and philosophical meaning of national consciousness through the search for national identity. In addition, the purpose of the study is to identify and analyze the most important changes in national consciousness and national identity associated with the process of globalization. The main aspects of modern cultural and philosophical interpretations of the concepts of national consciousness and national identity are analyzed.
