Abstract

This article is about the analysis of dissertations on philosophy defended in Kazakhstan in the middle 90s of the last centuries and the first two decades of the present (1994-2019). The goals of it were, firstly, the systematization of dissertation research in the field of philosophical knowledge in the areas of philosophical research history of philosophy, philosophy of religion, philosophical anthropology, social philosophy, anthology and theory of knowledge), by thematic focus, as well as by a number of sociological indicators (gender, language);  

secondly, the obtained statistical data as external parameters make it possible to identify a number of internal trends, in particular, related to the peculiarities of the development of philosophical science in Kazakhstan over the analyzed period, the direction of the vector of philosophical search in the sphere of modern domestic philosophical knowledge.

The article uses materials on defended dissertations for the degree of candidate and doctor of philosophy (PhD) obtained from data posted on the website of the National Center for Scientific and Technical Information, as well as data from the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Astana).

 The results obtained allowed us to conclude that the interests of domestic scientists-philosophers have changed, shifted from ontological, axiological problems to problems of an applied and interdisciplinary nature.
