This study examines the core aspects of religiosity, with a particular focus on its role in shaping individual and collective lives. Religiosity encompasses an intricate internal worldview, behavioural patterns, and emotional responses linked to belief in higher powers, moral principles, and transcendent values. Three aspects are of particular significance: personal belief, religious consciousness and ritual practice. The impact of religious beliefs on daily life and their role in shaping public and national identity has been the subject of much scholarly debate. Religiosity is regarded as a multifaceted phenomenon encompassing individual, sociocultural, and historical dimensions. This study aims to analyse the differences between external and internal religious practices, as well as the internal religious practices of contemporary societies. Evidently, religion fulfils a dual role within society, functioning as both a unifying and a regulating force. This contributes to the preservation of legal norms and the stability of legal institutions. In this manner, the phenomenon of religiousness is investigated from a philosophical standpoint within a multidisciplinary context. The contemporary world is characterised by the convergence of three distinct fields of enquiry: sociology, cultural studies and religion. Integrating these disciplines provides a deeper and more nuanced understanding of contemporary issues.
