Abstract

The article explores the conceptual modeling of social stratification within the framework of identity sociology. It examines contemporary theoretical approaches to social stratification and the role of identity in shaping social structures. Particular attention is given to the influence of reference groups on social status and self-identification processes. Key sociological concepts and their significance for modern social theory are analyzed.
