Abstract
This article analyzes the nature of tolerance in the Turkestan region and the factors influencing it. The article is based on the results of a field study conducted in 2023 in this region.
The novelty of this article lies: firstly, in this article presented interpretations of tolerance in the context of ethnic groups living in the region; secondly, it is considered one of the few works where the method of in-depth interview of a qualitative approach was used in the study of tolerance in Kazakhstan science.
