The purpose of the article is to comprehend the moral nature of modern social space and its significance for the development of society in the context of the social and ethical teachings of al-Farabi and the peculiarities of the cognitive foundations of his anthropological ethicasophy. Emphasizing that the philosophical heritage of al-Farabi is the unique spiritual basis of our national code, and also plays an important role as the basis of scientific knowledge, the article examines the anthropocentric nature of human nature in al-Farabi's concept of happiness. From this point of view, the article: 1) reveals human existence in social space, according to the works of an oriental scientist, a native of the Kazakh land; 2) the anthropocentric nature of the essence of all mankind is determined; 3) the ethical roots of the fact that the change in society depends on the change in human behavior are determined; 4) reveals their universal meaning and deep spiritual potential in the Muslim intellectual culture. The article takes a step towards the analysis of the moral time and moral space of society through the teachings of the Eastern thinker. This gives an opportunity to look at the present and the future of the problem, which makes it more and more important and determines its further study.
