Focus and Scope

Ethical standards of publication

Observance of the principles of scientific ethics in socio-humanitarian journal Al-Farabi will be provided with methods of collective responsibility, double blind reviewing and critical evaluation of publications. The journal accepts the manuscripts in the Kazakh, Russian and English languages that were not earlier published and not being on consideration in other journals. There are not allowed such non-ethical behavior as plagiarism, falsification, the distorted and wrong interpretation of other works, the wrong quotes.

The publication of article in the scientific reviewed journal carries out several functions including the check and preserving the course, stages and authentically exact results of research. Each stage of the publication plays an important role. Respectively, the author of the publication, the editor of the journal, the reviewer are obliged to respect ethical standards at all stages of the publication, beginning from provision of article and finishing it with the publication in the journal.

Peer Review Process

Reviewer’s responsibilities

• The reviewer should act objectively and timely according to regulations established by editorial office for assistance in improvement of quality of article.

• In case of the review it is necessary to observe confidentiality concerning any information provided by the editor or the author.

• It is necessary to warn the editor about the materials published earlier in certain publication in case of their availability.

• The reviewer is obliged to warn the editor and if it is necessary, to pass article to other reviewer, in case of a potential conflict of interest (financial, organizational or other relations between the reviewer and the author).
